Ah! Finally over with the IGCSEs! Back to school after a well deserved 6 week break, as motivated as ever for the next two years to come.
On the first day we were introduced to the IB curriculum and the requirements. The first component we talked about were exams; how they should be written, what they compose of and how we will be assessed. I did not find this motivational at all. Why stress us on the first day itself by bombarding us with answers to questions we did not even have time to ask? We have two years to work on improving our skills and make our way through to the exams. Why not take things as they come? Why put us in a panic mode right from day 1?
