Fundraising event!

On Saturday, 8th November, five of us students took part in a fundraising event for the benefit of East Coast Ladies Group, an NGO that supports handicapped and disabled children and adults.

We collected old clothes and toys that people didn't need anymore which were in good conditions and had a huge sale. It was a very busy and hot day! I was in charge of bagging and adding the prices, I must say I was pretty impressed with myself considering there were no calculators! (Thanks mental maths). It was a great experience and I felt really good about myself at the end of the day knowing that we did raise a good amount of money for the less fourtunate! I'm looking forward to participating in more of these fundraising events this year!
